ECU CAN통신 등 고장진단과 정비 작업시에는 필수적인 장비이다. 특히 전기와 소프트웨어 관련된 측정장비등은 꼭 있어야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 진단자체가 불가하거나 정확도가 떨어진다.
