혼다 하이브리드 시스템 IMA를 탑재한 8세대 시빅이다. 계기판에 IMA 표시등과 진단기 스캔결과 P1488 & U1204 고장코드가 발견된다. P1488은 하이브리드 배터리 모듈 과열상태를 의미한다.

P1488 (Battery Module Overheating)

IMA 하이브리드 차량에서 종 종 발생하는 고장코드이다. 베콤카 실제 진단사례이다. 하이브리드 전문점에서 약 180만원 비용의 Control Unit 고장으로 진단하였으나, 베콤카는 고장코드에도 없는 냉각팬고장으로 진단한다. 결론은 냉각팬 약 20만원으로 고장코드 해결하고 진단결과 하이브리드 셀 및 시스템이 정상이다. 고객이 발품팔이해서 하이브리드 냉각팬 소싱을 참 잘 하였다.

고장코드 및 시스템이해도 중요

차량 고장코드 진단시에는 단순히 고장코드 뿐아니라, 해당 시스템의 작동원리 및 주위환경까지 이해하면 더 좋을듯 하다. P1488은 배터리모듈과열 이라는 고장코드이다. 실제 배터리에 문제가 있어서 과열이 되었거나 냉각팬이 작동을 제대로 못해서 과열될 수 있다는것도 함께 점검해야 한다.

고장코드는 곧이곧대로 믿어서는 안된다
