Q. 겉 벨트교환시기가 지나서 끊어진다고 하는데, 확인해보니 벨트에 크랙이 많은데 당장에 교환해야 할까요?

겉벨트에 크랙이 있다. 사실상 벨트 교환시기가 지났다. 당장에 외부 벨트가 끊어지는것은 아니지만 벨트를 빨리 교환하는것이 좋다.

겉 벨트 교환시기 판단방법

하나는 교환주기이다. 보통 10~16만키로 사이에 교환을 한다. 하지만, 겉 벨트를 점검하여 크랙이 있으면 키로수와 연수와 상관없이 교환하는것이 좋다. 리스크에 비하여 정비비용은 저렴한 편이기때문이다.

철 심이 있는 겉 벨트구조는 강하다

겉 벨트를 분해하여 잘 살펴보면 그렇게 쉽게 끊어지지 않는다. 안쪽에 철사같은 것이 꼭 타이어처럼 겉벨트를 잡아주고 있기때문이다. 그렇지만, 사진처럼 정도의 크랙이 있으면 바로 교환하는것이 권장된다.
