퍼지컨트롤밸브 재 장착시에는 꼭 실리콘페이스트등 윤활제를 사용해준다. 비상시는 바셀린 이나 스킨로션도 좋다. 강제로 누를경우 O링에 손상줄수도 있다. 이 원칙은 고무류 오링등이 있는 모든부품에 해당된다.
