Used car spark plug and ignition coil inspection
Often spark plug and coil reflects what is inside the engine. Spark plug or coil with oil, thick carbon chunk, all white electrode all mean the engine is not in good condition. In this case, further inspection of oil leaks and the related parts should be carried out.
Above photo taken from Acura J3.5 engine shows the engine is in good condition. The spark plug shows no oil residue or chunks or any other signs that are serious enough. This particular inspection case showed the overall very good inspection results which led to the purchase decision.
